Fibre broadband advertising to be investigated
The UK's advertising watchdog is looking into the way so-called "fibre broadband" services are marketed. In some cases, ISPs are advertising services as fibre that rely on slower copper wires for the final link to a customer's home. The probe has been prompted by consumer complaints and calls from MP Matt Warman to investigate. Mr Warman said ISPs were misleading customers by giving them copper when they expected fibre.

The multi-Michelin-starred chef Jean-Christophe Novelli was in Belfast at the weekend providing diners with a taste of the culinary expertise he’ll be bringing to Belfast when he opens his new signature restaurant in City Quays.
The world-renowned chef and 5 out of 5 AA Rosette award-winning chef will open a 104-seat restaurant, overlooking Belfast’s waterfront as part of the new £25 million four-star AC Hotel by Marriott, scheduled to open early in 2018.
Jean-Christophe showcased the world-famous food offerings he’ll be serving up at the new venture, “Jean-Christophe Novelli at City Quays”, in an event at the historic Harbour Commissioners’ office, an event our very own Sharwan was fortunate enough to attend.
Sharwan discussed all the important topics such as Social Media, Online and Digital Marketing and food whilst at the launch.
